Möbius
Uxer, 2018
How we developed a service to encourage people to use more public transport in Barcelona, making it challenging and also providing social benefits.
The first painful moment is having to tick to get into the subway.
The second, when he sees a person without resources and asks himself how he could help.
The first painful moment needed hardware changes, so we decided to focus on the second one: making easy to help people.
A service that allows users to collaborate with social causes at no cost to them, at the same time they get benefits.
Users accumulate points by completing challenges, some by the use of public transportation and others sponsored by companies
When challenges are completed, users have access to different benefits, such as discounts on restaurants, courses, etc.
After that, the user gets Möbius, which they can be used to collaborate with a social cause.
We set aside a portion of the profits to create a social pocket, and the users decide with their votes how much money we spend on each cause.
